please do take a look at some of our recent projects below and drop us a line if you’d like to chat about your event. we believe your story is worth celebrating. get in touch: [email protected] (snug)*projects 50th birthday party > with mellow ibiza tunes and pops of colour from our rainbow pompom garlands, velvet cushions and stunning floral displays, we brought another party to life in one of our fabulous stretch tents. it was a night to remember for our client, who wanted to celebrate a special birthday with her friends, family and a touch of club night chic. to create the vibe she wanted, we styled the tent with lots of relaxed lounge seating, festoons and fairy lights, and some fabulous light up numbers! as always, the guests tucked into delicious food, some of the favourites being brie and green apple quesadillas and brandy apple pulled pork sliders with mini brioche buns and homemade slaw. after the band successfully packed the dancefloor, guests enjoyed one of our famous dessert and cheese stations; piled high with eton mess, dark chocolate salted caramel pots and a new favourite, pina colada and pineapple layered shots with crispy coconut shards. it was clear everyone was having a ball, but we’ll leave the last word to our client: “thank you so much for creating such a brilliant party on saturday night, i was absolutely thrilled with how it all went and all of my guests were so complimentary about the décor and styling, it all looked truly amazing and was everything that i had hoped it would be . i found you so easy to work with, you are so calm and i definitely relaxed and enjoyed myself more knowing that you were in control. it was lovely to find that you are as obsessed with the detail as i am – everything looked stunning and your team were utterly professional and absolute stars. thank you so much amy for making my 50th a night to remember, not just for me but for everyone that was there.” project #1 40th birthday party > oh, what a night! our client certainly celebrated her birthday in style by inviting friends and family to party the night away in a stunning stretch tent in her garden. we brought the garden inside the tent with velvet green lounge furniture, hand crafted wooden tables, rich copper tones and soft florals; all coming together to create a relaxed 'babington house’ style vibe. guests feasted on a delicious menu of canapes and bowl food, including rare roast beef in mini yorkshire puddings with horseradish cream and flat leaf parsley, lamb tagine with roasted vegetables and lime couscous, and mini caramel chocolate tarts with sesame soil. thankfully guests left some room for the stunning cheese table, laden with british cheeses, fresh bread, crackers, fruit and nuts, celery and home made chutneys. and of course, a party isn’t a party without a birthday cake, stacked high with cream, fruit and candles! our fabulous mixologists were kept busy, wowing guests with their show stopping cocktails and topping off the evening with their signature espresso martini twists with popcorn and maple foam. no party is complete without a great band, and our line up of world-class musicians took the roof off the tent! these party-goers weren’t shy in joining rockaoke on stage, belting out some classics and partying well into the night. and there was no stopping these guests when the clock struck midnight; they just put on their silent disco headsets and carried on dancing! project #2 autumn birthday party > we had great fun organising this special birthday party in such a stunning setting! our 30 mini party guests zipped about outside playing laser tag in the autumn sun, before coming inside the cosy tipi to warm up at the hot chocolate station, have their faces painted and play at the super hero themed craft table. the beautiful tipi stood majestic in our client’s garden and kept guests cosy and warm as they feasted on party food bags packed to the brim with tasty delights! the adults enjoyed the tea and coffee station whilst tucking into a selection of mini bites, including apple and toffee sauce cake, millionaire shortbread and all time favorite, rocky road! the diy hot chocolate station was a big hit with children and adults alike and everyone enjoyed creating their own chocolaty delights! clutching their star wars cupcakes, balloons and bespoke party bags, the guests left tired and happy and the party boy had memories to last a lifetime. hooray for parties! project #3 summer garden party > there’s something special about a relaxed garden party, which is exactly what the team achieved for our clients in berkshire. armed with our brief for fresh summer food, simple décor and a laid-back feel, we dressed a beautiful sperry tent with elegant crates of succulents and soft pink roses, twinkly fairy lights and cosy hay bale lounge areas. sparkling summer drinks were served on arrival followed by a delicious seasonal menu, all topped off with decadent english puddings and a spectacular cheese table. we injected some (snug)* sparkle into the evening and delighted guests with mind boggling magic, wooden boxes filled with curiosities and bespoke liquid nitrogen ice-cream, made to order in front of their eyes! our fabulous house band had everyone up on the dancefloor before our guests tried their hand at cocktail making in the quirky treehouse den. as the evening drew in, contented guests snuggled into cosy lounge seating, stoking fire pits and toasting marshmallows, before making their way home along the festoon and lantern-lit pathway. project #4 a winter wonderland > all photos © david jenkins our client’s brief was to create a magical winter wonderland, so with snow shipped in from belgium, beautiful twinkly lights and a fabulous festive menu, we created a party to remember for 150 guests. guests warmed themselves with spiced bellinis and egg nog martinis served by our mixologists before tucking in to a delicious bowl food menu. the favourites included skewered bourbon-glazed pork belly with crackling & a sour cream chive dip and skewers of chargrilled beef fillet with big chips and béarnaise sauce. we used glass, mirrored furniture and winter flora to create an elegant dining area, along with lounge seating for those who wanted to chat and a dance area for those who wanted to party! the cheese and dessert stations opened later in the evening and in between dancing, guests nibbled on fig pudding balls with a warm custard dip, cinnamon and damson doughnuts with a spiced caramel sauce and baileys & mint chocolate cheesecake. fabulous face painter www.glitterbox.co.uk added some magical sparkle to the evening with intricate designs for the ladies and the men were introduced to the world of glitter beards! for those with room to fill, guests dipped, sprinkled and stirred to create their own dream drinks at the hot chocolate station before wrapping up in blankets and heading onto the decking to toast chestnuts over the open fires. project #5 children’s birthday party for jack wilshere > had so much fun organising the birthday party for archie and delilah, the children of england and arsenal football star jack wilshere. the children enjoyed fabulous bubblegum balloons, face painting, bubbles, craft tables, bouncy castle, ball pool and a surprise appear
